The 43-story tower, created room for more than 9,000 employees in 1.5 million gross square feet of office space. Its design also incorporates environmentally sustainable features and the latest green-building technologies. Crescent’s management services assisted the client to achieve over 30% in contracts to Minority and Women-owned businesses for the construction of its new world headquarters and 34% Minority and Women workforce. The $200 million in awarded contracts is the largest M/WBE project in the state of New York. As part of the compliance monitoring, Crescent assist in preparation of Bid Lists for Professional Services, General Condition Items, various Trades, Site Work and Bid Lists for Second and Third Tier subcontracting and supplier opportunities. Act as liaison between Project Team and Minority and Women Businesses to ensure that they respond to bids on a timely manner and assist with concerns. Scheduled Pre-Award meetings with prime contractors to inform them of program and documentation requirements. Maintain and Submit Monthly Reports to Battery Park City Authority Representatives.
Market & Network Development
Crescent Consulting designed and managed the “Meet the Primes” outreach and networking events. The events were broken into two sessions, one for the MEP Trades and the other for Finished Trades. Both events were highly successful creating an opportunity for over 300 potential M’WBE Contractors to network and discuss business opportunities.
